Detailed Tour Itinerary

Day 01:

Arrive Mumbai

  • Arrive Delhi

  • Transfer to the hotel

  • Overnight at hotel

 

Your Tour begins with an arrival into Mumbai, where you will be met at the airport by our representative and transferred to the hotel and assisted with check in formalities.

Overnight at Hotel.

Day 02:

Mumbai

  • Breakfast in The Hotel

  • Excursion to Elephanta Caves

  • Visit of Mumbai

  • Evening free

  • Overnight at hotel

 

After breakfast you will take an excursion to Elephanta Caves. Later you will visit The Mumbai City including the visit of like the Gateway of India, Marine Drive the Prince Wales Museum and Dhobi Ghat.

 

Overnight at hotel.

 

Note:-

1- Elephanta Caves remains closed on Monday.

2 - Prince of Wales museum remains closed on Monday.

Day 03:

Mumbai - Aurangabad ( By flight )

  • Breakfast in The Hotel

  • Check-out from hotel

  • Transfer to airport

  • Arrival transfer in Aurangabad

  • Visit of Ellora Caves

  • Overnight at hotel

 

After breakfast you will transfer to the airport to board the flight to Aurangabad. On arrival in Aurangabad you will transfer to hotel.

Afternoon you will take the excursion to Ellora caves, carved between fourth and fifth century represent the three major faiths of India - Hinduism, Buddhism and Jainism.

 

Overnight at hotel.

 

Note:- Ellora caves remains closed on Tuesday. 

Day 04:

Aurangabad

  • Breakfast in The Hotel

  • Visit of Ajanta Caves

  • Overnight at hotel

 

After breakfast take a day return excursion to visit caves of Ajanta (Carry packed lunch from Hotel). Overnight at hotel.

 

Note:- Ajanta caves remains closed on Monday. 

Day 05:

Aurangabad – Bhusaval (Approx. 04hrs. drive) Bhusaval – Bhopal (Train)

  • Breakfast in The Hotel

  • Check-out from hotel

  • Board the train

  • Arrival transfer in Bhopal

  • Overnight at hotel

 

After breakfast check out from the hotel (Carry packed lunch from hotel) and drive to Bhusawal (Town near Bhopal) railway station to board the train to Bhopal, Bhopal, the capital city of Madhya Pradesh is a known for stunning natural beauty, quaint traditions, ancient edifices and culture.

 

On arrival in Bhopal your representative will meet you at railway station and transfer to hotel. Overnight at hotel.

Day 06:

In Bhopal

  • Breakfast in the hotel

  • Excursion to Sanchi

  • Visit of Bhimbetika Caves

  • Overnight at hotel.

 

After breakfast you will take a day return excursion to Sanchi Stupa, which is an exotic example of Buddhist architecture of ancient India, believed by Emperor Ashoka (273-236 BC). Later in the afternoon proceed to Bhimbetka caves - 130 rock shelters. Overnight at hotel.

Day 07:

Bhopal - Agra (By Train – Shatabdi Exp)

  • Breakfast in the hotel

  • City tour of Bhopal

  • Check-out from hotel

  • Transfer to railway station

  • Train to Agra

  • Arrival transfer in Agra

  • Overnight at hotel

 

After breakfast you will enjoy local sightseeing of Bhopal covering Tribal Habitat Museum - offers a fascinating insight into India's tribal culture and twin lakes.

 

Later you will be transfer to railway station to board the train to Agra. On arrival at Agra railway station meet assist and transfer to hotel.

 

Overnight at hotel.

Day 08:

Agra – Varanasi (By Overnight Train )

  • Visit of Taj Mahal

  • Breakfast at hotel

  • Visit of Agra Fort and itmad-ud-daula.

  • Evening free

  • Overnight at hotel

 

Early morning you will take your tonga and visit the world famous Taj Mahal (Closed on Friday) the monument of Love, built by Shah Jahan in 1630 for his queen Mumtaz Mahal to enshrine her mortal remains.

After visit of Taj Mahal you will return to hotel for overnight.

Afternoon you will visit Agra fort, built by Emperor Akbar, a fine example of Mughal talent for combining defensive architecture with beauty and design. You can the magical view of the Taj Mahal from the fort, followed by visit tmad-ud daulah, one of the most beautiful tombs of Mughal era.

Evening Free to visit local Market.

Overnight at Hotel.

 

Special Note:- Taj Mahal remains closed on every Friday.

 

Evening transfer to railway station to board the train to Varanasi. (Carry packed dinner from Hotel.)

Day 09:

Arrive Varanasi

  • Arrive in Varanasi

  • Transfer to hotel

  • Half day city tour of Varanasi

  • Aarti Ceremony

  • Overnight at hotel

 

Train arrives at railway station in the morning, on arrival our representative meet assist at the railway station & transfer to hotel.

 

Afternoon temple tour of Varanasi. Evening witness “Aarti” ceremony on the Ghats and enjoy Rickshaw ride.

Day 10:

Varanasi- Bodhgaya (Surface - Approx. 05 ½ hrs)

  • Breakfast in the hotel

  • Check-out from hotel

  • Visit Sarnath Museum

  • Drive to Bodhgaya

  • Check-in at hotel

  • Evening city tour of Bodhgaya

  • Dinner and overnight at hotel

 

After breakfast you will Visiting Sarnath - where the Buddha preached his first sermon, later you will drive to Bodhgaya.

 

Arrive Bodhgaya & check-in at hotel. Bodhgaya, the spiritual home of Buhddhists, located near the river Niranjana, is one of the holiest Buddhist pilgrimage centers. Later visit Mahabodhi Temple, Niranjana River, Sujata Village.

 

Dinner and overnight at hotel.

 

Note:- Sarnath Museum remains closed on Thursday. 

Day 11:

Bodhgaya - Rajgir (Surface - Approx. 03 hrs)

  • Breakfast in the hotel

  • Checkout from hotel

  • Drive to Rajgir

  • Enroute visit Nalanda

  • Check-in at hotel

  • Dinner and overnight at hotel

 

After Breakfast you will drive to drive to Rajgir also known as “Rajagriha” in the past is surrounded by the meandering river Banganga and 5 hills, ruled by the virtuous King Bimbisara. on the way you can also visit Nalanda - was the most renowned university in ancient India. It derived its name from Na-alam-da, meaning Insatiable in Giving, one of the names by which the Lord Buddha was known. After visit of Nalanda you will continue you drive to Rajgir, on arrival check-in at hotel.

 

Evening visit Rajgir..

 

Dinner and overnight at hotel.

Day 12:

Rajgir - Vaishali - Kushinagar ( Surface - Approx. 8 ½ hrs)

  • Breakfast in the hotel

  • Checkout from hotel

  • Drive to Kushinagar

  • EnRouté visiting Vaishali

  • Check-in at hotel

  • Evening free

  • Dinner and overnight at hotel

 

 

After breakfast you will drive to Kushinagar - where the Buddha finally attained Mahaparmirvana. Enroute you will visit Vaishali. After visit you will continue your visit to Kushinagar, on arrival check-in at hotel.

 

Evening free.

Day 13:

Kushinagar - Lumbini ( Surface - Approx. 05 hrs)

  • Breakfast in the hotel

  • City tour of Kushinagar

  • Checkout from hotel

  • Drive to Lumbini

  • Check-in at hotel

  • Evening visit Lumbini

  • Dinner and overnight at hotel

 

After breakfast you will visit the Mahaparinirvana Temple & Stupas, later you will drive to Lumbini - the birthplace of the Buddha.

 

On arrival check-in at hotel.

 

Evening sightseeing tour of Lumbini including a visit to the birth Place of Lord Buddha.

 

Dinner and overnight at hotel.

Day 14:

Lumbini - Sravasti ( Surface - Approx. 06 hrs. drive)

  • Breakfast in the hotel

  • Checkout from hotel

  • Drive to Sravasti

  • Check-in at hotel

  • Dinner and overnight at hotel

 

After breakfast drive to Sravasti - the capital of the ancient kingdom of Kosala, has the honour for sheltering Buddha for 24 rainy seasons in the Jetvana Gardens.

 

On arrival check-in at hotel evening visit Saheth - Maheth & Jetvan.

Day 15:

Sravasti - Lucknow - Delhi Sravasti – Lucknow (Surface - Approx. 5 hrs) Lucknow - Delhi (Train – Shatabdi Exp)

  • Breakfast in the hotel

  • Checkout from hotel

  • Drive to Lucknow

  • Board the train to Delhi

  • Transfer to hotel

  • Check-in at hotel

  • Overnight at hotel

 

After breakfast you will drive to Lucknow railway station to board the train to Delhi. On arrival in Delhi our representative will meet and assistance you at railway station later you will transfer to hotel.

 

Overnight at hotel.

Day 16:

Departure Delhi

  • Breakfast at hotel

  • Full Day City Tour of Old and New Delhi

  • Evening free.

  • Overnight at hotel.

 

After breakfast you will enjoy city tour of Old Delhi and visit Chandni Chowk market, Jama Masjid or Friday Mosque, India's largest mosque designed by Shah Jahan, followed by drive pass through the Red Fort. Later you will also Raj Ghat a simple and stunning memorial to Mahatma Gandhi, the main architect of India's independence.

In continuation to your visit of Old Delhi in the afternoon, you will visit New Delhi and visit Qutab Minar, the  symbolize of supremacy of Islam. Our next stop is Humayun's tomb, built by mother of emperor Akbar. Later we drive pass the India Gate, Presidential Palace and Parliament House.

In the evening you have free time in your hands for the last minute shopping in Delhi. Later in time you will be transferred to the airport for your onward flight.
