Day 01:

Arrive Hanoi

Arrival and welcome at Hanoi Airport. Transfer to check in at your hotel. Room is at your disposal from 13.30. After that, free at your leisure to explore the Hanoi Old Quarter or Hoan Kiem Lake vicinity. Meals on your own. Overnight at the hotel.

Day 02:

Hanoi – Halong Bay (B)

Leave Hanoi this morning and head straight to Halong bay a stunning UNESCO World Heritage site with its 3,000 islands of towering limestone dotting the bay and Gulf of Tonkin (180km – 3.5 - 4 hour driving). After arriving at noon, you will board a beautiful boat for an overnight cruise on Halong Bay with an excellent menu of fresh seafood. Lunch and dinner are served on boat. Overnight on board.

Day 03:

Halong Bay – Hanoi – Danang – Hoi An (B,L)

Wake up early in the morning to enjoy aquamarine water of the bay at its best. After tea break, the boat continue to cruise quietly through spectacular limestone formations of Halong Bay. Enjoy this more isolated bay’s spectacular and unique islands of the bay. Return to Halong harbour after a brunch for transfer directly to Noi Bai Airport in Hanoi for your onward flight to Danang. If time still permits, take a short visit of a pagoda along the way. Welcome by local guide on arrival in Danang city and transfer to your hotel in Hoi An Town (30km - 45mins driving) for check in. Meals on your own. Overnight at the hotel.

Day 04:

Hoi An (B)

In the morning take a walking tour in Hoi An town, recognized by UNESCO as a World Heritage site because of its unusually well-preserved ancient streets and homes. Set out to explore the quaint cobblestone streets of the town with more than two-century-old Chinese houses. Sites include the Japanese Bridge, the Chinese Temple, and Phung Hung Chinese-style trading house. Then take a short biking tour to the beautiful and peaceful villages in the countryside surrounding Hoi An (transfer by cyclo or by private vehicle are also the options). Free time in the afternoon for shopping and exploring Hoi An at your own pace. Meals on your own. Overnight at hotel.

Day 05:

Hoi An – Hue (B)

Morning departure to Hue via the scenic Hai Van Pass to enjoy one of the most beautiful panoramas in Vietnam as you look out over the central coastline. You will also pass through the quiet, white sandy beach of Lang Co along the way. Arrive in Hue at the end of the morning. Check in the hotel. After that, take a cyclo tour to enjoy the refined and distinct atmosphere of the town. After that visit the Imperial Citadel. Meals on your own. Overnight at the hotel.

Day 06:

Hue (B)

At around 8 am, take a bicycle riding through winding path along Perfume River to visit the Thien Mu Pagoda. On the way, visit a typical garden house, which was built according to precise rules of geomancy. After exploring the pagoda, visit the Minh Mang Mausoleum. In the afternoon discover Tu Duc Mausoleum and Tu Hieu Pagoda. Meals on your own. Overnight at the hotel.

Day 07:

Hue – Ho Chi Minh City (B)

Transfer to Hue Airport for the morning flight to Ho Chi Minh City. Welcome at the airport and transfer to the city. Pay visits to some historic landmarks including the Old Saigon Post Office, Notre-Dame Cathedral, the War Remnants Museum and Dong Khoi Street. Check in at the hotel. Then visit the ethnic Chinese district of Cho Lon, especially Binh Tay Market and Thien Hau Pagoda. Meals on your own. Overnight at the hotel.

Day 08:

Ho Chi Minh City – Cu Chi Tunnels (B)

In the morning, depart to Cu Chi, where you will visit the amazing tunnel network built by Vietnamese fighters during the Vietnam War with America. Return to Ho Chi Minh City at the end of this morning. Spend the balance of day free at leisure. Meals on your own. Overnight at the hotel.

Day 09:

Ho Chi Minh City Departure (B)

The morning is at leisure until your transfer to the airport for your departures flight. Room is at your disposal until noon time only. Meals on your own.
